Like Steve Bannon at the Breitbart office, Lewandowski stays upstairs when he’s in town. The lower floors house a lobbying firm and sometimes a radio show.
“You could call this the Turnberry embassy,” said John Fredericks, a friend of Lewandowski’s who sometimes broadcasts his syndicated radio show, “The John Fredericks Show,” out of the dining room and allowed a POLITICO reporter to join him there.
Pressed on that description, he corrected himself.
“Nobody knows what Turnberry is, so I would call it the Lewandowski Embassy,” Fredericks said. “On the air, I call it the Corey Lewandowski galactic headquarters.”
The clearest evidence linking Lewandowski to Turnberry, though, may be the row house. Asked whether the house was Corey’s personal office or Turnberry’s offices, Fredericks said there wasn’t a distinction.
“Turnberry is Corey’s public affairs company,” Fredericks said. “They’re one and the same.”
The house, built in 1900, is owned by the Citizens United Foundation, according to Washington, D.C., property records. It’s not clear whether Lewandowski, Turnberry or another entity rents the house or whether Lewandowski is allowed to use it for free.
Lewandowski worked with David Bossie, Citizens United’s president, on “Let Trump Be Trump: The Inside Story of His Rise to the Presidency,” a book due out next month. Bossie did not respond to requests for comment.
Lewandowski “does TV and radio interviews” in the house, said one person who knows Lewandowski and has been to the row house. “He lets friends of his use it. It is pretty open-door.”
One of those friends, Fredericks, said Lewandowski will sometimes “just come downstairs and pop on” his radio show.
The house also provides nods to Lewandowski’s new influence in Washington, a city where few had heard of him before he took the helm of Trump’s campaign in 2015.

White House senior officials, who talked to President Trump last night, told me there is no deal on DACA with the Chuck Schumer Democrats and that the building of the wall is the cornerstone to any legislative DACA solution going forward.
“The President wants a wall along the border, and he is willing to obstruct any Congressional action that does not include it,” one senior White House official told me last night on the condition of anonymity. “There is no amnesty, there is no deal with the Democrats. A prototype of the wall is being developed now. The President won’t commit to the vehicle but there will be no amnesty – there are simply lines he won’t cross.”
The senior official also told me that President Trump would only consider DACA legislation that affected the 690,000 current DACA participants now, and would not entertain continuing the program for new applicants. “The President ended DACA going forward”, the official said.
Trump’s top campaign promise was to build the wall. Some took that literally, others have regarded it as a symbol of resolve to more broadly enforce our laws and enhance our national sovereignty.
While most of us acknowledge that the wall is just one, albeit a vital, component of an exhaustive list of needed reforms, there’s no turning back now. The wall has to be built because it has become the durable and symbolic centerpiece of America’s determination to enforce our laws and maintain control of our borders.
If it gets built, all other reforms are likely; without it, Trump faces major agenda defeat and national resolve will diminish.
The Day the Tiger Got Loose
On September 13, 2017 Trump learned a valuable lesson: his base will turn on him over amnesty for illegal immigrants, regardless of the circumstances.
Remember his comment on the campaign that if he shot somebody in cold blood on Park Avenue his base would still be with him?
The President found out yesterday that is not the case when he cavalierly floated DACA amnesty with no wall to the media and Chuck Schumer.
It was met with immediate fire and fury from his base.
Conservative talk radio caller telephones like mine lit up like a pinball machine in a penny arcade all over the country. The Trump base was infuriated. They showed it.
Trump found out in no uncertain terms that if he breaks his promise on the wall – and plays the globalist slave labor game with amnesty deals to appease the cheap labor and cheap votes D.C. uni-Party swamp crowd — all hell will break loose among his most ardent supporters.
Trump supporters know their establishment Republican representatives in Washington have lied to them over 30 years. Their patience has run out. The game has changed.
The President learned if he caves in on amnesty for illegals and negotiates away the wall its political suicide. He’ll lose the House in 2018; he’s out in 2020.
It’s like George Bush’s 1988 pledge: “read my lips, no new taxes”. You can’t break the pledge. If you do, you lose.
The Movement Transcends Its Leader
For two years I have said on national television and on my radio program the America first Trump doctrine is a movement. It cannot be contained.
The movement is now transcending its leader.
Trump set a tiger is loose in the streets. Trump either rides the tiger – or it will eat him.
If you want proof of this, circle Sept. 26th on your calendar.
That’s the day Alabama voters will soundly reject President Trump’s U.S. senate swamp candidate Luther Strange and elect Roy Moore in a landslide.
The movement is moving past its current leader.
Trump found out yesterday his base – which he ignited — cannot be managed.
It’s now managing him.
Following through on a key campaign promise, President Trump and U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions effectively ended former President Obama’s “Dreamers” program today.
The Trump Administration was pushed into action by 10 Republican state attorney generals, who had threatened to bring suit against the federal government today to end the program that Obama first decried, then implemented without legislative authority several years ago.
Sessions reportedly told the President that Obama’s executive order had no standing, and the courts were likely to nullify DACA.
So Trump acted…decisively.
Naturally, Washington media elites and the Republican establishment Wall St. funded donor class was shocked this President is bothering to follow through on another campaign promise.
They don’t. Why should he? Lying is so much more civil.
Here are the facts to dispel the rumors about Trump’s DACA action:
- There are 690,000 people who are currently in the DACA program in the U.S. right now.
- Ages range from 16-35, with the average age at 23.
- Effective today, the U.S. government is not accepting any more DACA applications. Unless Congress passes a new law instituting it, the program is dead. No more applications, and no incentive to flood the border.
- There are approximately 33,000 current DACA applications in the system today. They will be processed, and if accepted each of these applicants will get a two-year work permit waiver.
- There are 73,000 current DACA workers who have re-applied for another two-year work extension. They will all be processed, and if approved under normal guidelines, will get another two-year work permit deferment.
- If anyone in the DACA program has a waiver that is about to expire in September, they have until October 5 to re-apply.
- DHS is not going to prioritize former DACA waiver recipients for deportation. The DHS and ICE will maintain their previously deportation priorities.
That’s it. Without Congressional action, The DACA program is over in about 2.5 years. Waivers are granted from the date of approval, not application.
What happens after new two-year waivers expire if there is no Congressional action?
Those in the DACA deferment program now will have two years to apply for U.S. entry through regular lawful means, marry a U.S. citizen, apply for work permits under other lawful avenues available, stay in the U.S. illegally and risk deportation after the permit expiration or return home.
What is Congress’ role now?
Congress has only three options:
- Do nothing, and let the DACA program terminate itself after about 2.5 more years
- Make DACA permanent and go forward accepting applications in perpetuity, or for another set period of time (sunset the new law).
- Provide amnesty to the 690,000 DACA participants in the deferment program now.
Now, lets see which Republicans vote for amnesty over their constituents’ wishes.
The onion is about to be peeled back.john@JFRadioshow.com
Gary Cohn – Bonfire of the Globalists
Gary Cohn, President Trump’s National Economic Council Director, certainly has a right to speak out on the issues that move him.
His post Charlottesville comments on hate groups were spot on. The white supremacist militants who masqueraded as protesters in Virginia two weeks ago have no place in the Trump orbit nor in the national discourse.
But nearly two weeks after the deadly violence in Charlottesville, Cohn delivered another sharp critique – this time of Trump, rather than the Nazi clowns.
Mr. Cohn said he seriously considered resigning and even drafted a letter of resignation, as reported by the legacy media. He went on the record to trash President Trump.
“I believe this administration can and must do better in consistently and unequivocally condemning these groups, and do everything we can to heal the deep divisions that exist in our communities,” Cohn said.
Cohn revealed that he wanted to resign from the Trump Administration, and further embarrassed the President by saying publicly that he had penned a letter of resignation over his boss’ comments on Charlottesville, but retracted it out of “duty and patriotism.”
Let me ask a question: who exactly elected Gary Cohn to anything?
If Cohn wants to leave the White House, here’s my advice: don’t let the door hit you in the keister.
Cohn can return to Goldman Sachs and go back to his $21 million annual salary, plus bonuses.
Here’s what’s happened under Gary Cohn’s globalist cheap labor, slave trade, Wall Street watch: while he has raked in hundreds of millions by pushing paper around in New York, U.S. wages for middle and low-income workers have stagnated for the past 20 years.
The rich got richer. Cohn got wealthy. Workers went broke.
It was Cohn who ran the mortgage department at Goldman Sachs that produced the toxic mortgage securities that eventually crashed the economy. Then, Cohn and his Wall Street friends were bailed out by taxpayers.
Cohn and his cronies got richer and further concentrated wealth in the hands of an ever-shrinking few (theirs)!
American workers who actually make things have been left to die on the vine by Cohn and his globalist comrades who engineered such “sophisticated” business strategies as sending jobs overseas and raping the H1B Visa program to import cheap labor in order to juice their million-dollar bonus packages at the expense of increasing wage rates.
Now Gary Cohn is going to lecture President Trump, who is fighting for the forgotten working class Americans every day?
The icing on the caviar cake is Cohn’s lament that he decided to stay in the White House for “patriotic” reasons, and he had to sacrifice for the common good.
The New Face of Sacrifice: $285 Million
Can an open borders globalist like Cohn even be a patriot? Is a $285 million severance package from Goldman Sachs the face of sacrifice now?
Can working class Americans relate to this $285 million level of “sacrifice?”
Oh, and globalist Gary says he fears his departure will negatively impact the market.
I guess Trump’s breathtaking deregulatory executive orders and his promises of tax reform and 3.5 percent economic growth have no impact on the economy. It’s all about the billionaire Gary Cohn. If he leaves, apparently its economic Armageddon for the rest of us working stiffs.
Another bonfire of the egos going on in the west wing.
It seems Cohn’s remarks got the President’s attention, too. Trump snubbed Cohn on Wednesday during his tax speech in Springfield, MO.
By the way, Cohn’s remarks were far removed from a statement by Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin on Charlottesville.
Mnuchin defended the president.
Steve Bannon’s west wing departure is a punch in the gut to the true believers who are convinced that President Donald J. Trump leads a movement.
Bannon saw Trump’s election for what is was: a political revolution and a once in a lifetime opportunity to completely transform the loser do nothing- donor driven national Republican Party into a vehicle for real political change who champions the beleaguered American worker.
By John Fredericks (July 13, 2017) Washington, D.C. –-
Sit at your own risk: Sanders is firing back at the legacy media reporters in the White House correspondents press corps who sit in the press room’s most coveted seats.
The first two rows of seats at the daily White House press briefings are reserved for the legacy media. The big names, once revered and respected.
These days they’ve become mere cannon fodder for a very feisty deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Here is an example of Sander’s return fire at the White House’s July 13 presser, responding to a question about U.S Rep. Trey Gowdy’s (R-SC) recent public statements that the Russian inquiry’s drip, drip, drip of negative news is eroding the credibility of the Trump Administration.
“I think it’s actually undermining the credibility of the media because they drip, drip, drip a lot of things that don’t seem to have much to — much ado about nothing,” Sanders shot back, incredulously.
Peppered with questions about Donald Trump Jr.’s emails and his meeting with a Russian lawyer who claimed to have dirt on Hillary Clinton, Sanders offered little fodder. But she consistently turned the tables – to the Clintons.
When pressed by CBS’s Major Garrett on the issue of “amnesia” by Trump family members and campaign operatives – Garrett asked, “Why can’t anybody remember these Russian meetings? Why the plague of amnesia about these Russian meetings?” — Sanders quickly pivoted and responded with a salvo of here own.
“I think if there’s been any evidence of collusion in 2016 that’s come out at all or has been discussed that’s actually happened, it would be between the DNC [Democratic National Committee] and the Ukrainian government,” Sanders said.
“I don’t often quote the New York Times, but even one of their reporters tweeted earlier today that — why this example provides evidence of collusion: cooperation was between DNC officials and officials from the Ukrainian government, not just some associate.”
Sanders also brought up the so-called Trump “dossier,” which is a fancy French word for opposition research.
“Ukrainian actions to coordinate with the DNC were actually successful, unlike anything shown by Don Jr.’s emails,” Sanders replied.
“Information passed to the DNC from the Ukrainian government directly targeted members of the Trump campaign in an attempt to undermine it. And that was just Ukraine. The other big news was the foreign intelligence dossier that the President’s political opponents funded and disseminated widely, and was based on discredited opposition research from foreign intelligence sources. The only collusion I’ve seen, and that’s certainly been proven, would be between those people.”
Naturally, the legacy media has conveniently ignored of all of those stories, along with Benghazi and Bill Clinton’s infamous tarmac meeting with then Attorney General Loretta Lynch – who was supposedly investigating his wife.
When asked about those within the administration who had subsequently admitted to or finally conceded they had contacts with Russians — Mike Flynn, Jared Kushner, Jeff Sessions and Don Jr., Sanders, not missing a beat, shifted directly into battle mode.
“Look,” Sanders chided the reporter, “I think if you want to talk about having relationships with Russia, I’d look no further than the Clintons. Bill Clinton was paid half a million dollars to give a speech to a Russian bank, personally thanked by President Putin. Hillary Clinton allowed one-fifth of America’s uranium reserve to be sold to a Russian firm — whose investors were Clinton Foundation donors. The Clinton campaign chairman’s brother lobbied against sanctions on Russia’s largest bank and failed to report it. I think if we were looking at Russia relations with anybody, it would be directly with the Clintons.”
Sanders said she’d be splitting press-briefing duties with her boss, Sean Spicer. “We are very busy. It’s whoever’s available.”
As the President heads off to Paris on Wednesday night for Bastille Day ceremonies and meetings with new French President Macron, no doubt Sanders will be gearing up for another target practice with her acknowledged nemesis: the front rows of the White House press corps
The Robert Mueller Investigation has now gone beyond the pale of common sense. You have an out of control special prosecutor with unlimited resources and unchecked power.
There is no evidence of any crimes. There is no obstruction. There is no collusion with the Russians. There is no money trail. There are only lawyers conducting a Soviet style inquisition in search of a crime. This is not a witch-hunt, as President Trump suggests. It’s a covert attempt at overthrowing this President and overturning the election, negating the wishes of the American people. This investigation, now sporting 13 high priced lawyers — some of whom are big money Clinton donors–has as its goal the removal of a President.
Now they leak they’re looking at Jared Kushner’s businesses. What does that have to do with Mueller’s original mission?
They did the same thing to former Gov. Bob McDonnell. He was eventually exonerated by the Supreme Court 8-0.
It’s sick and corrupt. The D.C. elites make billions off of taxpayer subsidies, bailouts and crony inside baseball capitalism. This way of easy life in the swamp is now threatened by Trump.
Their new mantra –to remove Trump from office– takes a page out of Malcolm X’s book: “By any means necessary.” They have one goal: drive Trump from office. Wear him down. Force him to quit. Or resign. Or fatigue. Or worse. They want to discourage qualified loyalists from taking jobs in the Administration so nothing gets done.
They will fail. Trump will prevail. And his voters will turn out in record numbers in the midterms. And in Virginia this November.
The Washington Post, once a bastion of effective investigative journalism, has declared war on the truth.
It’s a war of propaganda, fake news and slippery words.
It’s a war on the supporters of President Trump and his “America First” agenda.
The completely manufactured news story yesterday in The Washington Post –“Trump Leaked Classified Info to Russia”—is beyond the pale of legitimate journalism, even for the Post’s editors.
Their bogus story was based on non-collaborated “sources” that amounts to little more than third party heresy.
The Post got their story from a former administration official (Obama administration) who got it from another former administration official who got it from somebody at an undisclosed agency somewhere.
For Post editors, this fantasy trail apparently sufficed for the truth.
Meanwhile, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, NSA Director Gen. H.R. McMaster and Deputy Dina Powell, three high-ranking administration officials who actually attended the meeting all vehemently denied the third-party sourced accounts.
They were there. The Post’s sources were not.
The Post editors apparently found those first hand accounts to be lacking in interest. So they went with a former Obama official’s subjective and unsubstantiated dribble.
The former was true. The latter better fit their false narrative.
One would expect to see this in “The Onion” or some left-wing blog — but never in a legacy newspaper with the history and dignity of The Washington Post.
This is a shot that is going to be heard around America. The Post, once the muscular icon of holding Washington pols accountable has laid down the gauntlet.
Facts and truth are now subservient to the newspaper’s political and ideological agenda.
Their relentless mission to squash the Trump movement and bring down the Trump Administration now reins supreme over even feigning legitimate reporting.
To Post senior editors, truth and the facts are now unavoidable collateral damage in a time of war.
The Post’s new owner, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, has made hundreds of millions of dollars off cheap labor and scam work visas from open borders and the international globalist slave trade network.
Bezos worships at the altar of the status quo. Trump threatens change.
Too much money is at stake for Bezos’ empire to worry about telling the truth to the working class people who elected Trump.
After all, if Trump succeeds, Bezos might have to hire American workers in Silicon Valley and pay them a legitimate wage.
This story was concocted with no basis in truth with on the scene witnesses saying it didn’t happen.
Yet they went with it anyway. The Post has declared war on you, the reader.
They think you are really dumb.
I suppose facts to Post editors are pesky things that get in the way of their overall objective. So they stopped being news.
Now they’re just an arm of the Trump resistance, masquerading as a newspaper.
